      You will begin your UMKC visit with our Roo Visit. During the Roo portion you will learn about UMKC through our overview presentation and take a walking tour of campus led by a current student Campus Ambassador. The second portion of your visit will be with UMKC School of Biological and Chemical Sciences.

      From biotechnology and conservation to medicine, a degree in biology or chemistry lays a solid foundation for success. UMKC's curriculum emphasizes critical thinking and the principles of scientific discovery to prepare students for professional careers in medicine and dentistry, or for graduate-level work
