Roo Visit and School of Medicine (Specific to Six Year BA/MD Program) Visit

      You will begin your UMKC visit with our Roo Visit. During the Roo portion you will learn about UMKC through our overview presentation and take a walking tour of campus led by a current student Campus Ambassador. The second portion of your visit will be with UMKC School of Medicine.

      The School of Medicine partners with six top area hospitals to provide students with early patient interaction and high-quality medical training. High school students who are highly motivated and well-qualified may be eligible for the unique B.A./M.D. Program, which allows you to earn a medical degree in just six years. Other graduate medical programs are also available.

      November 1 is the final deadline to submit all application materials, including the General Application for Admission to UMKC and application fee, the School of Medicine Online Supplemental Application, reference forms, official transcripts, and official test scores.

      Participants will visit both UMKC’s Volker and Health Sciences Campuses during this visit, which is about a 15 minute drive.
