To help protect the health and safety of the UMKC community and our visitors, we have put in place the following measures for campus visitors. Public health directives from the State of Missouri, the City of Kansas City, and the Centers for Disease Control are the foundation for these guidelines: 
 

• All visitors must register with the Office of Admissions. Should the individuals attending the visit change at any time, please contact us at admissions@umkc.edu to update your registration form.
• In accordance with the CDC guidelines, UMKC highly encourages the use of masks while on campus. We ask that you respect the decisions of others to wear or not wear a face mask while visiting campus.
• Visitors should maintain proper hand hygiene while on campus by washing hands or utilizing hand sanitizer available on campus and located at each entrance to a campus building.
• All visitors are asked to perform a symptom assessment before arriving on campus for symptoms of COVID-19, including fever (100.4 degrees or above), cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell. Contact the Office of Admissions to reschedule should any member of your party be experiencing any of these symptoms or feel ill on the day of your visit.
