As a transfer student, you likely have many questions about what classes transfer to UMKC and how long you have left to finish your degree with the School of Computing and Engineering. We offer School of Computing and Engineering Transfer Consultations, which are an opportunity to meet one-on-one with a SCE representative to discuss and plan your transition to UMKC. This is NOT an academic advising appointment and admitted students should refer to  www.umkc.edu/advising to set up an academic advising appointment with their academic unit.


We also offer online resources to help you see how your credits are going to transfer. If you are transferring from a Kansas City area community college, begin with our Transfer Guides. If you are outside the Kansas City area or have attended multiple colleges/universities, please use Transferology.

It is extremely important for you to upload unofficial transcripts into the registration form when you schedule a transfer consultation. This will ensure we can spend your visit answering your questions.
