School of Science and Engineering Academic Info Sessions

      If you like to create, design, build and experiment, you'll feel right at home in the School of Science and Engineering. The possible paths you can take with a degree from SSE are endless. Whether you plan to go on to medical or dental school, work in wildlife or environmental conservation, design our buildings and bridges, expand our knowledge of renewable energy, or create the next big software application, to name just a few, UMKC and Kansas City have a place for you!

      The Roo + School of Science and Engineering Visit consists of a UMKC Overview with an Admissions Counselor, a walking tour of campus with an Ambassador, the opportunity to ask academic program questions and a tour of the School of Science and Engineering with a current SSE student. 

      Wear comfortable shoes and bring lots of questions!
