Group Visit Options
Do the students in your classroom want to learn more about UMKC? Come to campus for a group tour! Depending on the age of your students, you can explore our campus with a self-guided scavenger hunt or hear more about what our university has to offer from an admissions counselor and a UMKC Student Ambassador.

Please select the grade level of your group below to review our visit options.

*Note: Group visits are for groups of 10+ students. If you have less than 10 students, please individually register your students for a daily Roo Visit.

If none of the available times work for your group or you would like to request a meeting with another office or department during your visit, please submit a Special Request Form at least two weeks prior to your desired visit date and our Welcome Center Events Coordinator will be in touch. We can't guarantee we'll have availability, but we'd love to provide additional visit options.

This is an ideal visit for students in Kindergarten-5th grade! Our admissions staff has created an interactive self-guided scavenger hunt that your group can use to explore campus.

Check out the links below to access the questions, answer key (for chaperones' eyes only!), and a map that will guide you around. Have fun exploring, Future Roos!

This is an ideal visit for students in 6th-8th grade! Join us for a very special "Middle School Week" in the month of December or March to learn more about what it's like to attend college.

During your 2-hour visit, students will participate in fun, hands-on activities around campus that will help them get to know college life and meet current students and faculty.

Check out the calendar below for availability!

This is an ideal visit for high school students, community college students, or a group of adult learners interested in returning to school!

The visit will consist of a 30-minute presentation including an overview of UMKC's history, academic offerings, and admissions process with an Admissions Counselor followed by a 60-minute walking tour of campus led by a current UMKC Student Ambassador.

Check out the calendar below for availability!
