School of Medicine1:1 Graduate Consultations |
Hello from Admissions!
The UMKC School of Medicine offers three clinical programs. All programs include comprehensive academic instruction including exceptional didactic and clinical experiences. The M.D. program includes two separate tracks (rural and traditional medicine) to support our medical students before residency. The academic experience of both tracks is grounded in our nationally recognized docent system where students develop life-changing relationships with teaching physicians, students, and other members of the healthcare team. The Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant (M.M.S.P.A) program has a proven track record of educating competent, compassionate, and culturally aware physician assistants to meet the healthcare needs of our community. Finally, the Master of Science in Anesthesia (MSA), program has a rich history of producing highly skilled anesthesiologist assistants to support anesthesia care teams across the country.
Important: In order to maintain consistency across our platforms and to encourage student responsibility in the application process, it is important that prospective students register for consultations directly. Registrations should not be completed by parents or other family members. Additionally, while family members are welcome to attend consultations, communication and concerns during the session should be directed by the student themselves.
